Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ET&T) was established in the year 2001 with the vision of developing the department as a Centre of Excellence in R&D,in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and make the students blossom into meritorious and self-disciplined engineers by hard work.
Our mission is to develop innovative and simple instructional material to drive the concepts into the minds of students and infuse scientific temper in the students and guide them towards research in communication engineering. It is also to grow a committed group of competent teachers striving for excellence, be it in teaching or research and to develop Collaborative Research and Development linkages with leading organizations in India and abroad.

The department has specialists from the fields of device electronics, signal processing, microwave & optical engineering, wireless communication, mbedded systems and VLSI design.
Major Events & Achievements
The ET&T Department holds many National conferences, seminars, student symposia, short-term training program and value added courses. This provides a wide range of opportunities for faculty and students to bring out their potential and innovative skills in a variety of fields. The department has recently conducted a national conference on “Emerging trends in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering”(ETET-2012).
The ET&T Department prepares students to pursue leadership, technical, and management positions in a variety of industries. Students have obtained placements at leading companies. Some are pursuing their higher studies in prestigious institutions in India.
