Electronics & Communication Engineering (EC)
The department was established during the inception of the institute in 2003 as the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering with an intake of 60 students which has now increased to 120 .Since its commencement,the primary objective of the department has been to educate the students with the state of art knowledge to meet demands of the nation and also to empower practicing engineers with the state of art technology to meet the growing challenges of the industry.
The Department has always been on a high growth path to keep pace with the ever increasing importance of the major disciplines of study and current technology trends. A judicious mix of experienced and young faculty with strong commitment to academics has created an ambience for learning. Aptitude is developed for self study through use of web resources and data banks to foster lifelong learning. Educational tours and industry visits are regularly arranged for students to give them practical exposure. Students are also encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities to bring about over all development in them.

It is widely acknowledged that an engineering undergraduate education is a strong foundation for a successful career in many disciplines including, of course, engineering but additionally management, business, law and many more. While our primary focus is on engineering careers, we are pleased when our graduates take their foundations in analysis, problem solving, and understanding of complex systems into diverse careers.
The following set of course objectives is defined for the department to prepare our graduates to achieve the above goals:
1. Ability to Identify problems and solutions and also solve real-life problems.
2. Able to design and conduct experiments, and to analyze and interpret measured data.

4. Proficient in using modern engineering techniques and computing tools for effective engineering practice.

7. To provide students with an academic environment, leadership and membership opportunities associated with Electronics and Communication Engineering related student professional organizations such as ISTE.
Industrial visits represent important activities in any engineering undergraduate programme that contribute to the achievement of various essential learning outcomes and programme objectives It helps to bridge the gap between classroom and the real working world. Two Industrial visits were arranged for students in last one year at CRISP and AI AUTOMATION.
Good Faculty is the core strength of any institute to prosper. The strength of EC department is highly qualified, experienced and dedicated Faculty to the cause of academics and striving to do the best in the interest of the college and its students. Faculty as a team aim to remain focused, promote innovational learning, serve beyond campus, build a web of relationships for success . The faculty of the department has been constantly carrying out research on many cutting edge technologies and regularly publishes in good international journals.
Students are consumer of knowledge and customers of academy. Traditional classrooms were place and time bound and source of knowledge was only teacher but now it is beyond that. Teachers and supplementary tools(Digital Classrooms)is more learner centric, open and provides a platform for flexible education.The department has two digital classrooms to provide an opportunity for deep learning to the students.
The Department has over 15 well equipped laboratories supported by a number of PCs and workstations hosting several software packages like Microwind, MATLAB, Xilinx,FEKO and linked through a local area network. Internet services are available to all students and faculty.
