Homeopathic Materia Medica is concerned with Homeopathic system and is differently constructed as compared with the other systems of Medicines. It is constructed by providing the drug agents on healthy Human beings of different age groups and both the sexes. The Homeopathic Materia Medica consists of a schematic arrangement of symptoms produced by each drug on healthy human beings. Each drug should be studied synthetically, Analalycally. Comparatively and this alone would enable a Homeopathic student to study each drug individually and on a whole and help him to be a good Homeopathic prescriber.

Objectives:

• Construction of the Materia-Medica and enumeration of the Method of action of Drugs.
• Demonstration of the ability to apply Materia-medica practically.
• Demonstration of the ability to develop the drug picture and the knowledge of relative importance of individual drug.
• Comparing and contrasting the drugs and understanding their different and minute shades in relation with other drugs though they look similar.
• Materia Medica in clinical practice with Philosophically based and fixed laws of the Homeopathic system.
